There was a time where a lot of people were with Jesus in a desert and he was sending them back home. But he knew on the way they would die because they had nothing to eat. he passed out seven loaves of bread for 4,000 people to eat and he had a couple of fish. Then he out the leftovers in a basket to send home.
How were they able to pass out so little food and have everyone be satisfied?

So Jesus makes a deaf and mute guy hear by sticking his fingers in his ears and mouth and saying “Ephphatha.” (which means be opened) He told everyone that saw it not to talk about it. The more he said that, the more they talked about it.
If you saw Jesus do something spectacular and he told you not to tell anyone, would you do what he said?

-God has a lot of power of course.
So, have you seen God’s power? If so, in what ways?

The disciples were alone in a boat and struggling against the wind. So… Jesus decides to go out to them. Rather than taking his own boat he walks out to them on the water. They thought he was a ghost and they were afraid. The disciples were amazed that Jesus could do it beacuse they didn’t understand his other miracles.
What would you do if you saw someone walking on water and would you be surprised even though it was Jesus?

5 loaves and 2 fish to feed 5,000. Jesus always comes through and will never make us go hungry physically, emotionally, or faithfully.
What would you do if you were given 5 loaves, 2 fish and a shed to feed 5,000?
God came back to his own town and showed his own people that he is Jesus but his people didn’t believe him so he went around healing and teaching people.
Have you ever felt like people doubted who you are or what you have done?
To me it means that Jesus is all powerful and we need to trust him through everything even when it seems things are going horribly wrong or when it seems like the end of life as we know it. God has a plan for us all and we should trust him.
If you were one of the disciples on the boat would you have woken Jesus and why?
