So Jesus makes a deaf and mute guy hear by sticking his fingers in his ears and mouth and saying “Ephphatha.” (which means be opened) He told everyone that saw it not to talk about it. The more he said that, the more they talked about it.
If you saw Jesus do something spectacular and he told you not to tell anyone, would you do what he said?

i would really try my hardest not to tell. but when you see something REALLY amazing it’s hard not to tell anyone. but I think that if Jesus told me not to tell anyone i would really try not too. and if i told someone i would make sure they didnt tell anyone.
Comment by bri mcnulty. June 4, 2009 @ 3:26 pmI think, since it’s Jesus, I wouldn’t tell anyone. I have to admit, though, if it was anyone else, then I might tell a few people. If I was blessed enough to be able to witness Jesus do something spectacular, and He told me not to tell anyone, I’m almost positive that I would obey Him.
Comment by Sarah Moreau June 4, 2009 @ 3:39 pmI think I would talk about it with the other people that saw it but I wouldn’t tell others about it. I think I could obey God even though it would be tempting to tell because it’s like i witnessed it myself but if God told me not to tell I really think I wouldn’t.
Comment by Samantha Culley June 8, 2009 @ 2:17 pmWell if i told some one i saw jesus they wouldnt believe but seeing something that great would be hard not to talk about. But if god really wanted me to not talk about it i would try my hardest not to tell
