Jesus was talking to his disciples and asking who people though tthat Jesus was. Then Peter didn’t believe he as the messiah and God said to get behind me satan.

If you were in Peter’s shoes, what would you say to Jesus?

I don’t understand this passage really. But what I got our of it is that Peter rebuked Jesus then Jesus rebuked Peter and told him he doesn’t know the things of God but only the things of man. And Jesus said “get behind me Satan” because Peter was speaking falsey. So… I don’t know what I would say if I was in Peter’s shoes. I guess I would just listen to Jesus.

I’m not sure I quite understand this, either. I think I would just listen to Jesus, and I wouldn’t rebuke him. I’m not sure, though.

i kinda get where peter is coming from. if someone told me that they were gunna die and then rise again three days later i dont think i would have believed him either. but since it was jesus i proly would have believed him. but i have no idea what i would have said.
